How do I know which oil I should use?

Essential oils can be the perfect way to treat your aches and pains, help lift mood or calm you when anxious and stressed. They can help you sleep and clear up your skin break outs to name but a few.

 

If you are new to essential oils it can be very daunting trying to navigate your way around them and knowing which oils are needed.  Nature’s Essence want to do all we can to help support our customers. 

You will see from the following list of essential oils that they have properties that can be used for more than one complaint. The therapeutic properties of these natural plants can help you with many different problems, making essential oils value for money for your journey of selfcare.

Muscular Pain

The following oils have properties to help inflammation, spasms, rheumatic pain and can increase blood flow to the muscle therefore relaxing the muscle:

Lift Mood

The following oils can help lift mood with their anti-depressant properties:

  • Lavender – calming and balancing, A sense of well being

  • Sweet Orange – uplifting for mind and body. Supports positivity.

  • Bergamot – refreshing and uplifting, helps with anxiety, depression and tension.

  • Peppermint – invigorates the mind and body. Increases alertness and improves concentration.

  • Frankincense – balances emotions, creates inner peace.

Essential oils for Cleaning

Essential oils can be used for cleaning because of their antibacterial, antiviral and antimicrobial properties.  Dilute the oils using distilled water.

 

  • Lemon – Our favourite here at Nature’s Essence. All purpose cleaner and shining wooden floors.

  • Tea tree – Well known for its strength as a cleansing oil.  Works well for removing musty or mildew odours.  WARNING may cause harm to domestic pets. Please contact your Vet for advice.

  • Lavender – The all round Oil! Lavender is highly effective against viruses and bacteria.

  • Eucalyptus – Antiseptic and antimicrobial properties, Fights bacteria, mould and mildew.

  • Peppermint – Not only does this oil kill bacteria it also deters pests from your home!

  • Cinnamon – fights mould, mildew, fungi and other gunky bacteria! Freshens and deodorises.

 

Room Sprays

Why not make your own natural room spray! Choose your favourite essential oils from the list and mix with witch hazel and distilled water, add to a spray bottle and voila!
